Revised Apr 2026I went back to a safety razor twice and came back to this both times. The foil head handles the awkward geometry under the jaw that every rotary shaver I tried made a mess of.
It's fully waterproof, so it works in the shower with gel, which is the only way I use it. Charge lasts about three weeks of daily use.
A two, not a three, because the replacement heads are absurdly expensive and the cleaning dock is a large plastic object that uses proprietary cartridges. Both of those are solvable problems that Braun has chosen not to solve.
