Why it's here
Revised Sep 2026Every thick plush towel eventually develops that damp mildew smell, because a dense pile holds water for a day and a bathroom is humid. The fix isn't washing them more. The fix is a waffle weave.
This one dries in about two hours on a hook. It has never once smelled, it takes up a third of the shelf space of a normal towel, and it packs down small enough to travel with.
It's a three because I can't construct a version of this that's better. It's lighter, it dries faster, it lasts longer, and it costs less than the plush towel it replaced.
